John Lennon – Nobody Loves You (When You’re Down And Out)

(One of the very few songs not mine that I larned to cover.)

The basic expression surely predates both songs, but I wonder if John’s (drastically different) song might not have been him ‘inspired by’ remembering Blackwell. The lads did like some blues.

…or at least the likes of Blackwell’s I might’ve said.
